As some of you know I have two S13's. For those who don't I sold it to start my RB swap but bought it back 2 months ago.
http://200sx.za.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.ph ... t=s13+sale
What the seller did to the car:
Respray
New shocks
Lowered it by heating the springs (Fail)
Mags
Recovered interior
Battery
Starter
Alternator
Will post some current pics soon
I am using the car as a daily so my plan for it is to make it better at that.
This weekend I sorted out the exhaust leak on the manifold. What a kak job.

Just a question, what color did he spray it?
What did you pay for it?
And ja mani on a CA is not nice, especially the bottom back 2 bolts...

Ouch, only one of two things can contribute to that.. Big arms.. or weak bolts!

A shade darker and made the roof black and wing. very hard to tell it is black from the blue of the car its that dark.
R43k might sound alot to some but i rebuilt the engine when i had the car and a couple of other things.
Better to have the devil you know

Not bad, actually quite good! What is your planning for a more "everyday" car?

Not 100% sure yet. Better fuel consumption and more power. Happy to keep the CA.
Engine mods - Not sure, still like the idea of a high compression CA18DET. Management will be in there Aircon needs to work.
Suspension - Std shocks and springs maybe a bush kit.
Brakes - just decent pads will do
Interior - Trying to get to std and in good nik.
Paintwork - Some spots need touch up.
This is long term, RB25 needs to be finished first.

Still havent taken pics.
The car has had for a long time a exhaust leak between the turbo and manifold. Manifold was damaged by my old tuner.
I got another std CA18 mani (thanks gary) and new gaskets from nissan. If anyone has done an exhaust mani on a CA18 you know it is a kak job.
Did the swap, everything went ok so i thought. 2 Days later i retighted the nuts and snapped a exhaust stud in the head.
Starting stripping again and water line broke. Got the stud removed at work bought new studs nuts bolts washers appie and gaskets
Put everything back together and water leak through the new line. Strip all the water lines again and everything looked fine so put back together again and water leak gone.
Next day i see that there is a oil leak at the top of the turbo. I am too frustrated to try again. Now how can I get there without stripping the manifold off again?
