Steering Wheel shaking above 80kms

Its not balancing i have checked it.

Above 80kms the wheel shakes 100kms is about the worst 120km its fine again.

Could this be bushes or something in the rack.

New cheap stuff on new 17" rims. It does this on the std 15's will name brand tyres

can go from 120 to 200km/h and there is a slight shake but can live with that

With my sp racers i had them do the balance 3 times before it was o k. But it still shakes on a not so good road surface.

I'm having the same problem. Just sent the front two rims to wheel works & going to put a new set of tyres up front aswell.

You having this problem for long?

Mine only started after my accident.

mine has had this since i got the car in 2006, just as i am using the car everyday now and not as a toy it bugs me.

oh ok. Have you tryed high speed balancing?

When I took my car for a cor test they said I must replace my rackends.
Will that be the cause?

Non-hubcentric spacers can be a huge contributor....do you have non-hubcentric spacers?

no spacers. Std disks and calipers.
