Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

So guys i organised last years end function.i learnt that way more time is needed to put something together,so im starting now.im open to ideas so give me your feedback so its fair and interesting for all.im toying with the idea of having a ''japfest'' with all other jap car clubs.we always see these guys at events etc...so it would be great to share a day with some people that share our passion for all things jap.what do you guys think?

sounds good maybe we should talk to the guys at swartkops the track skidpan etc etc

will be cool to see al da other guys from other clubs! n maybe some racing haha

I agree,i'll find out costing involved,i'll line up some sponcers etc...what do you guys think of tarlton drag shoot out? We will also need a graphic wizz to help us with artwork for a flyer that we can print and mail.(driftz nug nug wink wink lol)maybe the durbs and cpt guys can make the trip?we need to make this the biggest event this club has ever seen.anybody have an idea of what the record is for the most sx's together at once in sa?if we get a big venue we need numbers.so lets see what intrest is like.but i'll work my ass of to make this work.

Shoot if you need any help with organizing, can help organize sponsors, I am a Sales Executive after all, and any other organizing for that matter?

Sweet thanks,yes we need trophies,prize's.im busy sorting a venue.will have a few options by this evening.im thinking the 4th of december.but that might change.but im on it like ticks on a street dog!

1st sponcer is in absolute malbo hydrolics gave a set of brand new tyres!

O.k guys after running around the rock is the best option.spoke to ann and it all sounds great.we are going to hire out the venue for the day so we need to raise 6k i'll give the first 2k proudly sponcerd by the jukebox kings!we need some more,autozone?what about you guys in cape town?durban?jhb?let's pull together and make this work.i also spoke to alister from max my ride.i gave him sole cover on the event so he will advertise the event in the mag so we need a flyer desighned.

if you not in a rush for the flyer i could put something together (studying industrial design, 2d graphic design is part of that) just abit to busy right at the moment though

Wow, FJ! That is an awesome idea! We can do drags and drift and gymkhana, what a way for a car club to celebrate year end! C'mon Cape Town and Durbs, you guys must pull thru and we can make this the best event like... EVAR!

Hey toby,no drifting unfortuneatly,ann said its not allowed but gymkhana is.that's always fun.plus its not far out so we should have a great attendance.also thanks for the help with the flyer nivash will get that detail to you as soon as things are cast in stone.hope you guys can make it this year.we will take turns in hosting?maybe next year we can do then mother city?same goes for the durban guys.

i live with a couple of honda nuts.. there club has been having some lekker meets, 50 + cars going for cruizes to the berg and what not.. made me a bit jealous

Yea i know,its some issue with drifting without proper marshal's etc...those could work but we will need to add in jap fest somewhere on the flyer aswell as the sponcers logo's,date,time and info.but yes those samurai's will be awsome.
