Hey guys, me and Freddy was checking my engine the other day, we checked something that he doesn't have and I have been looking in other engines aswell but I don't see this thing in other sx's....what is it?

looks as if somebody tried to connect a bigger FPR.......interesting, but it doesn't look connected.

Difficult to say with the pic, Might be some sort of vacuumcan or regulator

south africa wasn't supposed to get the charcoal canister - and i dont know what it looks like, 'cos i always ignore that part of the FSM.
is that not the charcoal canister?

charcoal canister has something to do with emissions!!!

Its that thingy you get to controll the butterflies on the Inlet manifold on a jap spec head!
i Know coz iv'e now got one. Just leave it disconnected. our cars didnt come with the solinoid or the functionality on the ECU to controll it.

It is currently connected, always was......if I disconnect it won't it screw up something?

here's my advice:
now you know what it is.
you also know that its useless.
and here's the best part:
now you can rip it out, and throw it away.
ask freddie what my engine bay is missing. and my CA still runs occasionally!!!!
