I started my upgrades on my rb25. Took of the exhaust header, to cut out flanges for top mounted turbo.Planning to build my own header. Fit the gfreddy intake, but the master cylinder is not going to fit. My rb is about 40mm from my firewall, an my sump is on the cross member. Is my sump my problem ,or what can i do to get it right?

think u used the shorter fat box, wich makes it very difficult to move the engine forward. We used the longer box to have the engine a bit forward and get the gear lever in the right place. Best is to cut a piece out the back of the intake and weld a plate over to make it fit. It was done like that on Rudeboy's RB S13.

what Wynand said - get the intake mod done - just find someone that can weld ally

I have a AC/DC tig welder, i can weld it myself. :) I can try to tilt the engine to the driver side to see if the intake will go lower and miss the master cylinder. If that does not work, I have to cut the intake.

Need some info...
Talk to a guy from rover tech from mosselbay at the drags held at killarney. Rudeboy do you know that guys of rover tech? He told me that you must weld in a baffle plate in the greddy intake, to change the air flow. He say that the no.1and2 intake ports draw more air. Is you guys aware of this?

nope dont know them - and never heard of or seen anyone fit a baffle plate to a greddy style plenum
hard to imagine that you will have flow balance problems from a pressurised chamber... :?

The engine is out and cleaned. Under the intake manifold is there two green censors, what is the function of that censors? The clutch is no more, the fly wheel need to be skimped. Is the v6 hard body clutch going to work on the Rb? Going to make up a button clutch, but need the pressure plate.

as far as i now the hardbody v6 clutch works.but if u in cape town take the flywheel and old clutch to ferobrake in epping, and have them build the clutch u want. if its a track toy the double diaphram button clutch will be able to be made up for u .thats waht i had for my r33 but if u plan to drive it around as a daily then button with single diaphram will be less painfull in traffic. make sure you tell them wat your intention for the clutch is after a year of abuse my clutch still loked good wen i took the motor out.
