Who can do an RB25 swap in Cape Town ?

Hey guys,
new to the forum, so let me first introduce myself. I'm new on the scene, have not owned a performance vehicle for nigh on 10 years now when I drove an Opel 200TS into a guy at 180km/h. I work in Enterprise IT with a side in an Insurance Brokerage (Ask me if you also want to pay R300pm insurance on your 200sx).
I'm in process of purchasing a '94 S13 200SX with a stock SR20DET lump. I really want to go RB25DET, but dont have the garaging facilities to do it, as well as the car is going to be a daily drive. Who can I approach in Cape Town to do the conversion at a reasonable price ?
Would I be able to recover some cost from selling the SR20DET as well ?
Thanks in advance,
Pk

I'll put you first in line Riekart.
Hopefully want to swapout the tranny too, go with a fatboy on the RB25...Don't feel like replacing that too often...

Sweet! might need it as a second motor for my SX
Yeah rather do it once properly and get it done with, then at least you know it will hold together.

I have had all of them, CA18, SR20, RB25, RB26,RB30DET.
"Bang for buck" @ R22K you can not beat a RB26DETT, doesnt matter what anyone says. People look at R22K for an engine and think its a lot. Add turbo, manifold, injectors to any of the other motors and u are over R22K, and for that u get a reliable, resposive 280-300kw

I also don't mind doing the R22k RB26, think its a great deal. I just don't thing a 6cyl is the best for a s13.

All depends what u want to do, track, drifting, drags, daily driver. For track the SR is best, small & light. For anything else it up to your preferance.
Maybe Hentiebez can tell us a figure (cost) to build a performance SR20det
I know people spent up to R100K+ for 350kw+ SR's

RB26 sounds nice - what would I get back for selling my SR20DET + tranny ?
Maybe just spending some good cash on the RB26 now is a good base for future?
Although for R22k, I could do a lot to the SR ?

Is that 280-300KW from the RB26DETT as you buy it @ R22K ??

I think so far I have spent R45k on the whole car not just the engine alone

Yes (flywheel kw), mine made 260kw, 396nm @ .7 bar in base tune, another std one made 300kw at Ferroli, maxing(440cc) injectors @ about 1 bar. I would say safe 280kw on a std RB26DETT.
