Right.. so its getting mapped at the moment, we couldnt get it started the week after the last video.

Outcome:
Coils out by 120 degrees and no earth on the motor

Starts first time now! yay! Raised the back of the bonnet.. not sure about this just yet.

Problems with mapping it though, rich, then lean, then fine- culprit, faulty air and water sensors.. waiting on stock. Hopefully it will all be perfect soon.

We installed the new Bosch 044 pump and removed the old "whine-bro".. i love the turbosmart FPR - work of art!!

Sergio from Docs Tech does all the mapping. Genius! Docs Technologies / mail: info@docstech.co.za

Right so heres where we stand.

Sergio spent many hours tapping the inlet manifold and fitting a air temp sensor, redoing all the injector and wiring to coils, changing the water temp sensor etc, after all that we got stable readings on the dyno.. he mapped it and was happy with the results.

Dyna Pack - Hub Dyno, which btw is very stingy on numbers!
1.28 bar at 7200 rpm is producing 390kw at the wheels! and 570nm of torque

Sergio reckons at 1.7 or so we should be making 450kw on his dyno, which would equate to around 500kw on a Hyper Power etc..

Very happy, the cars a beast!

Only problem now is a slipping clutch, but i have a feeling that some oil has spilled onto it during the transplant etc.

:)

the raised bonnet helps ALOT for cooling. though i see yours is pretty high.. maybe bring it down a tad so that it doesnt look so obvious. You gonna get people trying to pull you over to tell you your bonnets open!.. :)

Congrates :D
Nice to see this car making BIG power again
I would really like to see 500kw from a Hyperpower dyno up in Jo-Burg 8)

what size tyres are you running to keep all that power in check?

265 / 18's semis.... And they spin all over the place, car changes lanes going from 2nd to 3rd ;)

i can imagine, i wonder if it could be likened to my standardish RB with my 195mm standard tyre's

are you planning on running bigger rubber in the future?

It's going to be used for drifting.. I might go 10 or 10.5 wide rota drifts and then run a stretched 225 tyre and big camber to make it have proper hard looking stance....

Perfect for drifting! 265 / 285 semis for track work will have to do!

drifting with that much power must be insane
