if you want to start drifting then fix your ca motor, unless its completly stuffed.and get the car on the track, you can worry about power later.
rather spend your money on tires and practice....

Best advise i have heard in a long time 8)

Some good advise i can give you is this : Buy a completed car
You can pick up a S14/S13 with a RB25 installed and setup for the most R120K The cost of building one is far greater in costs ,ask anyone who has done it , I know of 2 S14 for sale with a RB30 (RB25SX)and RB25(myself) in the next month or two .You will save a small fortune

if you starting out on the drift scene, keep the CA.itsprobably the better option to learn and practice on.there are many guys who drifted there sx's with the CA and were doing well. when you become a drift masta then u want more to get that 130km/h+ entry speed,(hahahah)then you can look at more power.believe me,you dont want to break an RB practicing .......rather spend alittle bit on what you have .
sideways forever....

Send it to a person that knows these cars ,What area you in ?

Once you know the problems fix those only to save cash .

The CA motor is a strong motor and i am sure will be fine to start off with to practice , I remember reading that in japan there practice cars where the CA still with a few bolt ons  I think it was in SnS when a few guys went over to Japan to check out the scene 8)

that would be a wise buy, coilovers,be prepared for a less comfortable ride though. but they wont go to waste. a strong ca and some suspention upgrades, to stiffen things up ......

Hey Shazaad, I had a 1jz-gte in...
Now I have 2 jz-gte in my s13 silvia...
You have to make alot of changes to go with a 1jz or 2jz...
The RB25 and SR20 will be good options to look at.
Just remember the SR20 is ALOT lighter than the RB or 1/2JZ...
drifterz do it slideways...
