AWE must say you did prety good! what motor are u running in the car now?

and is lots of power a advatage when drifting?

I am running a 2jz gte. 0.6 bar 250kw & just over 500NM torque. Standard motor & injectors.
I like power, and for me it does make it easier to get out of a tight spot.
But if you can drift well, you don't need alot of power. Another thing to take into consideration is if you are going to do a high speed drifting, it is not easy without the power...3rd 4th gear.

well i wont lie to you but i have never drifted before and this will be a new thing to me but will to learn. after seeing u guys drift in kimberly i said i want in and i got me a sx in 3weeks thats how much i really want to drift... i dont know why i just cant help to think that our sa no 1 (otto) is just winning because he has the power advantage maybe im wrong but his cars are very strong! not that he is not a good driver.... but u know what i meen!

I understand, He is a very good driver!!!
Not someone you want to tandem with on his own track.
But the power is an advantage, otherwise we would all still be using CA18's. Sorry guys...

You must be able to drift fast and slow!
Remember there is a difference between drifting and power sliding!
Learn to use your hand brake!!!

I had good fun drifting in my stock sx and my CA that was modded to 150rwkw

One of the guys at The Rock drifts very well in a STOCK BMW318i...
And that in less than 100kw on the wheels...

yes he is very good ive seen him as well but his car is a bit under powered! im sure if he gets his car a bit faster he should be able to do much better!

Like i said earlier,just get the car on the track,you haven't even started drifting and you are allready worried about power witch is not a good thing.
like silvia said there is a guy drifting with 100kw.
otto is winning a lot of races because he is very good.saying you dont have enough power is not an excuse drifters like to hear.LOL..JUST GO FASTER... HEY ERNIE?

awe thanks guys so for the time im just going to get the car up and running! even if its the ca motor that the car has in! :roll:
