Rock Mania at The Rock

The Rock is opening their new year with an event on the 16th of January 2010.
Are we joining the event?????
This time the drag track will be open to closed invites only, there can't be to much cars on the day because of the full program, they will have full on drag days later, I have spoken to Ann and she said that if we want to be part of the closed invites she needs our info....So who wants to take their cars for a drag.....I need cars and names
I still need to confirm what clothes we need and if a MSA licence is needed.
If there is enough interest, we can try and orginise free entry at the gates, that depends on on Ann, I will speak to her as soon as I know the interest from the club.

It’s going to be the perfect way to end off a good years racing, and a start to a brand new season at Rock Raceway with Rock Street Drag Racing, Tandem Drifting and Oval racing all in 1 day. A closed invitation to the Rock Street Drags will form part of the introduction of what’s to come to The Rock in the New Year.
Come join us as South Africa’s fastest competitors will put their best performance on track and push petrol heads adrenalin glands to the ultimate. Father Xmas will also pop in and dutifully ensure all is well on the 5 December.
Patrons can multi task as they chew on their boerie roll and scream for their favourite competitor. Support your vehicle manufacturer by wearing your favourite shirt, cap or jacket. Let’s see who are the Ford, Nissan, Mini fans etc.?

Gates open to public at 11am. Racing will commence at 3Pm
• Entry Fee
• Adults R40
• Children R20 (ages 6-12)
• Embankment Parking Per Vehicle R40
