the only SX I could find on Gumtree CT

why is this the only for sale in my range? how much would you pay for this? looks tired and needs a Turbo- I mailed the Guy and he told me he wants R30K.......

R30 is fine take the R7k and blow some life into it
Nice wheels and recovered seats, but make sure its the turbo.
If you dont come right U can always buy my S13

its not that bad, i agree, spend bout 7 to 10k more and u will get a reasonably good car

For R30K thats what you going to get
There are a few very nice things on that car like the seats
Riekert has plenty spares for you if you need for cheap cheap
As a fixer uper that car will be great but if you want to have a complete car rather spend the extra on getting a fairly nice S13,I would look at getting that car as a project for that price

that car doesnt look that bad, body looks ok,paint looks, ok,maybe just dirty, go have alook, offwer him a low figure and negotiate up from there,take it for a spin, i dont think yull get much better for that money unles you get someone who is desperatly looking fo cash........but id buy it ,if i was lookin....

saw the car now and it actually dont look bad. Needs a repaint (full)- Front bumper skew and bit damaged. The guy was very honest - said the car does not like Turbo's anymore
They've fitted 3 turbos after rebuilding the motor and they all died, quickly, T28 then T3/4 then went back to T28. The car currently runs without a Turbo - concerning thing is, guy suggested replacing the motor rather coz they checked feed lines and drain lines and its not a oil starvation problem.
still thinking bout the whole thing though

Eish not good,Whats the point of a sx without the turbo
Motor swop SR20 will cost another R20-30K for the most,You will find a CA18 for a good price R5K as a direct swop for that existing motor then easy peasie swop
,Then you have a decent working car for R35K ex labour stock though

the ca18 std turbos are easy to find. get a good one for R1000.
