hey guys...

i was really happy this morning when i managed to pull 1g around a long circular corner this morning.

its the first time in months that i've plugged my g-meter thingy in, and i've made some mods since then too, so i decided to test.

previously i couldn't get any higher than 0.80 lateral g's.

this mornings reading was 1.03 lateral g's.

yay!

thanks lots to bruno for his help in getting this achievement. it never would've worked on rims without tires!!!

Nice one, the best I managed so far was .92.... ran out of corner

What was your speed at the time.... mine was only about 60km/h

it was between 80 and 90km/h, and the corner was uphill, and a long tight circle!!!

i was at the track today, and never managed much over .94g. there was far too much understeer for that.

so i dunno - i was hoping to back up that figure of 1.03.

oh well...

mine were old second hand dunlop sp7000's with a little bit of tread left!!!

it was a very kind donation from a friend.

thats the surprising thing actually, although i must say they were warmed up nicely from a spirited morning traffic drive from beyers naude all the way to gillolleys interchange!!!
