Ca18det switched off while driving

Hi Guys, I need some help with my CA18det. my car swithced off while driving and now refuses to start.
I checked for spark and there was none. I reconditioned my power transistor, engine turns but still no spark.
There is a small valve below the power transistor that is making a wierd sound when the ignition is switched on that I have not heard before.
Has anyone had this problem? Please help.

I think you should check your CAS......

I checked the CAS and it seems to be fine, however the pressure regulator solonoid valve below the power transistor is making a pulsing sound and that seems to have an effect on my fuel pump. Fuel pump is also pulsing on and off.

Disconnect the power transistor and bypass the vacuum pipes so that all go straight to FPR.
Try then
check fuel pressure.....

Thanks, will try that tonight.

I disconnected the valve under power transistor and re-routed vacuum pipes to FPR, fuel pump and fuel pump relay still pulse.

Try direct power from acc2(ignition) to a new relay and wiring for fuel pump....or give fuel pump direct fused power to see if the pump is functioning or not....if it is, check relay....if thats ok....check ecu

Finally got back to working on my car, I checked the fuel pump, direct power and it seems fine. I now assume it is the ECU. Is there anyone that can check my ECU out as I have no clue how to check it.
