Riekert, do you have a 3.0SGLi? Or do you use it in the SX? Is it standard or chipped?

shot Jap spec. Thanx ECU has been sorted.

@SkylineFreak

Well was thinking about parting out the car and keeping the motor for a RB30 conversion for my car... but after checking what a mission it is to do a RB swap in a S13... I kinda decided not to go that route. So Still dont know what I'm gonna do...

Ah ok. I have a '92 3.0SGLi. Considering going the RB30DE or MAYBE DET route with it...

Also wanted to do that... There is a head on gumtree for R1500 (RB25DET)

plus wynand has done it successfully. So I'd say go for it.

Yeah I spoke to Wynand about the conversion. The easy thing on my side is that the RB30 is already in, so I don't have to worry about mountings etc. Untill I get to the RB25 gearbox that is... Biggest challenge for me is the management - to get the RB25 management and harness in there and working and get my revcounter to show something as well!

Why not just stand alone though?

Wasnt it a RB20DET head on gumtree ? Would not realy go for those, smaller ports and valves than RB25 head.
