Hey guys.
I'm looking for a smaller IC than I have now. Think mine might be a bit overkill for my setup. its a 600x400x80/100 well pretty much its BIG! haha
was looking at one about the same length but smaller hight. cause the bumper is covering half of it anyway. haha
What you guys think? stay with the big one or go smaller?

get one with less height but keep the length and the 76mm core thickness. try and get a tube and fin design or a delta-fin design that sells at turbo toys. Delta fin intercoolers are really light but the fins are kinda weak. bar and plate designs are more for the RB motors IMO.

i think you'll find that on most cars more than 50% of the coolers height does not get any exposure to direct front cooling
you can go to big on a cooler and it should show in your lag time up to full boost - if the cooler is really to big for your setup
if its too low, ie risk of damaging the cooler in normal driving scenarios, id say look around for a different cooler
the two things influencing the decision should be
the risk of damage to the cooler(bottom of cooler being exposed to the road surface or possible speed bump); and
the loss in spool up time

Contact these guys in ctn: Shawn 084-9518670, they have intercoolers at good prices, maybe ask what size they have to fit your application.
