As everyone knows I bought Hennie's spare CA18DET.
I just though I would post some pic's the motor is in perfect working order and its very sad to strip something that works but it feels good to finally have spares for my damn CA18DET.
I will be helping club members out with spares they might urgently need (like heater hosing, brackets. ect) , but I will be keeping the most important parts. Sorry .
Hennie knows his stuff and It good to have another Guru...
Motor....
Motor ..... I have closed up most of the hole's
Parts I can finally sleep at night

Damn You... Hennie
I had to scrub the cr@p out of those parts, still more stripping on the way.
Sorry I'm keeping the really important stuff but if one of the members really needs something. I will borrow them the correct part till they can source a replacement

its awesome for you and for some others that you have these spares!!!
would it be possible to score that cast iron engine mount bracket from you.
when i stripped my motor to clean it, i forgot that i had left mine in corrosive steel cleaner for two weeks, and it came out looking like it had been in the ocean for 20 years.
i could use a decent one.
if its available, lemme know the price!
thanks

I might be able to get semi complete engine for R500, think all that was taken of the engine was the turbo and injectors and CAS. I'll phone him and hear if he's still got it.
