Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

Last year December we all went to Hartes & it was awesome.Meeting with you guys & just chillin.
I 'smak' a braai, some beer & good conversation.

After reading the forum for the last two months, lots of poeple don't attend because the SX is not running or something like that, & we never get to meet.

So here's my idea & hopefully I get lots of support on this. I'd like to have the same kind of event during the end of February, but instead of SX's let's bring our second cars. So bring your wife's tazz or your new honda S2000. If you want to bring the SX that's cool, but let's bring anything else for those of us that can.

In that way, we can all still meet eachother. The other reason I thought of this event is because of Vlade & Phinx.
I actually wanted to call it "The let's bitch about the SX Event" so that we can also talk about the problems we have had....I didn't want the SX's there in case they hear us.

Sol et me know what you think & maybe we can make this event happen. Instead of Hartes I thought this time we could take a long cruise to the VAAL.

Sounds like a plan, im just not sure about the long drive, what about bronkorst spruit dam. it has a few really nice places to braai.

i'm not fussy. whatever, where ever we get together is cool. As long everybody can get there.

Instead of having a record of SX's I'm hoping to achieve a record of SX owners, past present & future.

It's a workable idea, but for the record I know how it feels if your sx is not running: I'm trying to think of other reasons to still go to events regardless, but all I can say is some more adventurous members might almost never attend if they only attended when their sx is running.

While we're driving something smaller than 1.8/2.0, who wants to dice my girlfriend in her aveo? She has been nagging me and practices apparently when I'm not in the car. FYI, the aveo is a 1498cc Ecotec petrol sipping urban slug.

For those that are taking their SX's with, where there's water there's usually soft ground and grass ) Just don't drift into the river you will never hear the end of it.

Another nice idea, Woohaa! Only schlep is that end of Feb I'll be attending the A1 GP in Durban...

It's mostly the wednesday westbank meetings I don't attend, otherwise, I'm usually there.

@Toby, It doesn't have to be at the very end of the month, or it can even be first week in March, you know whad I'm saying.

How's the 3rd of March Sound......or 24th Feb, somewhere around there?

24th Feb is A1 GP, but 3rd of March is cool

we can all meet up at the garage at Beures Naude....BP I think, just off the highway. at about 11:00.

Are we cool for the Vaal Dam, or is Bronkhorstspruit da better idea, which means we might have to change the meeting place as well.

@widowmaker/Stupidshirt, Yeah I got a honda 400 vfr as alternate transport, so me and my better half will be with that.

GREAT IDEA but im gone have to pitch with my sx cous its my only transport and when u ppl deside where fax me a map want dai stad is n orgie and maybe a bit closer to this side PLZ
