I think your probl;em is very small and with a bit of time it will come right. But I have had the same situations and you just loose all interest in the car and just want it gone.
What you gonna by next??

Vlade I haven't met you yet but I heard alot of good stuff about you and your car, my opinion is, you spent years on your baby, giving up now means all that was in vain, I get pissed off at my car aswell somtimes, but you built a machine there that most of us envies.....be proud of it and sort it out....
If you realy had enough, drop it at my place as a present, I will make sweet love to it....here I go again with my sxuality

We've all been at this point, "moeg", fed up with pouring so much into something and having it go wrong in our faces....
My motor needed to be re-built, Phinx had it with his head gasket going, and Jay boy had the same last week, Snooby has just clipped a pavement, Dislex got happy with jungle juice, we've all had our ups and downs...
I've also never met you, but, its the decision you make now that will reflect on you directly, you can see it in your "fans" responses here, we all have a high opinion of you, they might not have been through all you have, and might not understand all the factors involved, but the choice you make now is what separates the good, from the great...

Dude, I feel the same way about Mine.
If one more thing seriously "dies" on her. She is gone.
There is only so much time (honestly I spend months working on that thing) and money you can spend before you have to cut you losses. I don't mean to sound like an "A$$ hole but its the honest truth.
You can get a Lumina SS these day for like R120-000. So I would go that route. If I was standing infront of my car before I bought it a year ago I would have taken my money and bought an ST.
I understand it a 13 year old Car .. Bla, bla bla bla. but it my money and time. Look I'm a FAN like sokar says, But at the end of the day it your money.
I honestly cant justify spend thousands a month just to keep the thing running

i'm starting to feel like phinx here...
But then i think - i'm almost there... just one or two more things that need ironing out, and i'll have 100 000km of little or no hassles.
Prolly living in a dreamworld, but hey, if it ain't for hope, what do we have left?

Dude...
I'm there already. I have taken care of my car and I don't really race it that much, She runs stock boost and still thing keep failling.
I'm also trying to part with my car but I'm offering it to my family and friends first. I have been looking at the amount of money i spend on this thing and its silly.
I mean Sokar as spent a mountain of money and his just started.
But after months of spending that Cash it gets sickening

i'm just illustrating the 'relativity' of the situation.
I've spent about 70-80k on my car and am getting tired of it. But i need to write off that 'investment' over a coupla years. So can't toss in the towel.
I think if you've only spent a coupla k, it's easier to throw in the towel.

I cant throw 80k at my car just to get it to run properly.
And I'm sure thats what Vl@de feels aswell.
I mean if you throw enough money at it , anything is possible but I'm starting to run short of cash
