what u mean bonkers?

does it jump around alot? Then its not getting the correct signal(voltage) from the diktator? you might need to add a resistor between the tator and your rev counter to get the correct voltage.

Any one else with a dicktator care to comment?

the dictator management is only piggy backing so the rev counter is running straight from the original computer box for now i have even tried to fit an aftermarket rev counter so what now PLEASE ASSIST as it is extremely annoying

i just installed a gotech pro with my sr20det.

the gotech has a rev counter output wire, which i wired straight into the s13 rev counter pin on the white plug near the original computer box. no hassles so far.

doesnt the dicktator have a similar output wire for the revcounter?

the management system was fitted by Ferrolli all they did was join the management systems rev counter wire with the standard cpu yes the colour is white that sends a signal back to the rev counter

sounds like you have some work to do their bud.

your best bet? ask riekert for some assistance. he's also just done the sr20det swap into his s13, and he become well-versed in the intracacies of the s13 cluster wiring system!!!

the reason i suggest him - he lives in hermanus, quite close to CT then!

best to do it yourself go find the white wire and then find the wire for the dicktator i take it you have the wasted spark if so here the wiring diagram

no dude...

if you're wired into a white wire for the s13 cluster rev counter, then you're doing it wrong.

its a yellow wire you're looking for, iirc. and its on a white plug, near the stock ecu location. you'll have to remove the glovebox to find the plug.

VC is correct. Its a yellow and red wire that give the signal to the tach. It might be that ferolli when they fitted the dicktator screwed it somehow. With the SR conversion I had to wire in a resistor between a live 12v and the rev counter signal wire to get it working right.

If not try and run it to the Rev signal out on the diktator to the yellow/red on the cluster.

Like VC said, you'll find the cable on the white plug next to the cubby hole.

Hope it helps....
