Ok so i have the Innovate installed(plugged in). But the readings i get are scary. Ive got the lamda in the downpipe where the standard lamda goes on a japspec motor. What should the AFR be at idle and constand crusing?

dude...

try to move the AFR sensor. thats not the ideal place for it as it will get too hot there, and that could affect its lifespan.

new sensor from bosch diesel electric is R2500-00 ex vat!

as for AFR's - what readings you getting? rich or lean?

sometimes with my car off, the gauge reads 132 AFR!!! seems quite lean!!!

lol - on idle i've aimed for 14.2-14.7. on boost i've aimed for 12's, the sr20 likes 12.

on off throttle i get as lean as 16-17.

Idle/crusing i get 7,4
Off throttle 20.9
Floorboard anything from 3 downwards even into the .0x
But yes ill move it, was just to lazy to get in under the car.

yeah i was thinking the same thing...

check the settings on the unit!

and did you do a free-air calibration before you plugged it in?

my sr20 wont run at richer than 8-9. let alone idle, rev up, etc!!! and 0 with the foot flat? definitely something up with the unit, not the car!

I did the calibration while it was in the downpipe. But stil got the right reading ,should i do it free air rather? Another thing, if i change either the airflow meter adjustment or feul presure the afr stays the same. That cant be right???

I think you have some wrong setting on the LM2, when you calibrate it it must be done in free air.

READ THE MANUAL before doing anything else.
