hmmm...
my stock sr20det one works perfect!
the two pin sensor goes to the ecu, and the single pin sensor (temp thermistor) goes to the wire you told me about, for the dashboard.
also - i compared the resistance ranges of the sr20det and the ca18det one, and they're the same - as per the FSM's the s13 ca18 and the s14 sr20 - so what is the problem???

mmm... ok...
well I just read that the SR one will under read the temp.
But like you said you did test it so it should work. Might've been because the ECU temp one's plug was cut off and not plugged in. well then the search is over i guess.
Thanx dude!

If it shows higher temp then what the enjin is at, i think ive seen this. Ill do a test and get back you.

hey dudes,
i didn't physically test it. but i compared specs on the thing with the ca18 one and they're basically the same thing!
also - i've been running with mine in now for two weeks or so, and i have no issues. temp gauge on cluster reads just below half ALL the time!!!
however, the temp sensor (two plug) wired into the gotech interprets as about 10-15 degrees hotter than it really is!
