76mm down to 63mm why didnt you go 76 all the way
i upgraded my turbo to the garrett t25g which is exactly like the one off the ca but it got a a.r of 80 so it flows more air than the std and it does the same at 0.5 as the org turbo did at 0.7 so i think good upgrade or you can go for the td04 or td05 ask gary bout td05 and trance bout td04
when you going to post a project

Agree with Poizen
the 63mm would be ok.. but 76mm is better, in my opinion.
Turbo wise the td04-5 is good, don't know if you still get the td04 though.
I drove a CA18 SX with a 63mm and t28(from S14), stock everything else. and believe me... it moved! the boost from the t28 makes it much more fun to drive, plus for me it boosted alot earlier. but again.. thats just me

hehe.

and he says that he is having problems with fitting the induction because of some bracket for the air flow meter !

Hi Schalk
Just be aware that t28's come in various configurations. Have a quick look through the Garrett catalogue. I think for R4k you'll likely end up with a Chinese/Brazilian imitation and not a genuine brand new Garrett, I could be wrong though. Once you've found out the exact specs of the turbo you should speak to PinkFluff, Gary or some other knowledgeable oke that can help you plot the turbo's efficiency on a ca.

P.s. The gt28rs with a .64 a/r is king on the ca for street use.
cool

Honestly I have no idea what a brand new gt28rs is going for these days, well over R10k I think. However guys like Riekert have managed to buy secondhand ones for considerably cheaper. Maybe one of them can chime in and point you in the right direction.
