Durban Drift?
Hey guys
So just wondering what the Durban guys do for their drift education?
Do you guys session various spots or something? Because I know there is no track(Hesketh, iDube, Mason's Mill)
And what are you guys building drift cars planning to do? (Like Brendan)
Because if I were to get a 200sx where could I actually use it properly?

Howzit man, where about r u from? I've spoken to the durban guys about this before, I'm still scouting about for a place that we can pay to use. It's super shyte that we don't have places like rock raceway. I'm not sure if the guys are still doing the trip to Rock Raceway,

Zup Bos:)
I was building mine for Hesketh, which really sux now:( but dont let this put you off. GET AN SX:) we can always make a plan somewhere nearby:)
Otherwise my plan is trailering upcountry for track time, but we could always hookup with BMW club for their Car park sessions or ..maybe create our own i dunno, we need to speak to Rob!
Either way... GET AN SX, or atleast something rwd:)

I'm seriously think of taking to the streets. I'm no fan of illegal street racing but still now that Hesketh is gone we got no track.
I got my eye on Nandi drive. Its got a big flat well tarred intersection and there isn't much traffic at night. So, I may go there and mess around a bit once my w/m is in and the head gasket/head is sorted.
That or the old sugar mill casino site. I don't know what the sercurity is like there tho.

Seriously ryan, be careful there, wouldn't say theres a huge cop problem, but there is a hijacking problem. As for Mason's Mill, the road to the place is shit, I wouldn't say the track has a huge run-off area, so I wouldn't recommend for beginners.Trance101 wrote: I got my eye on Nandi drive.
