hi guys, this is now the second time this has happend to me in 11000 km, the cam oil feeders just seem to not supply the oil to the cams. this time it did supply on no 1 inlet and no 4 outlet valves the others all burned and seizes. ImageImage

NO, no time yet just took the cover of yesterday and it had a service just 5000 km ago.

so far thats all i can see, will take the engine out this weekend and strip to see what else is wrong.

they still turn but its eaten up the cam lobes and the cam followers, dont know what caused it. when i fixed it the first time i bought new oil feeder pipes from nissan.

I had that on a newly rebuild engine. Problem is small pieces of dirt in the oil tube. Very difficult to get clean. We sorted it out by cleaning all the little holes and washing it with petrol. Damage should only be cams and followers.
Best is to check that all the holes spray oil after you assemble the engine. Take the plugs out and swing the engine without cam cover until you have oil preasure. Good luck.
Also looking at the dirt in the head, you need to try and get the engine clean inside, it only takes a small piece of dirt to block the oil hole.
