Questions about Dictator on CA18DET

So I'm considering getting the Dictator as it seems to be able to do the job and it's much cheaper than the Pro-X from Gotech. Did you guys all get the Wasted Spark version (R2900)?
I'd also like to know what method you're using for the signal inputs. 60-2 or straight from the CAS etc?
If 60-2 did you make up the trigger disc and hardware for the magnetic pickup or is there off the shelf stuff available?
I want to get the managment setup and running so that there's minimal downtime when I do the sr swap in 2009...

That sounds very promising. Did dictator charge for the wasted spark upgrade?

Mine had wasted spark, worked quite well, also ran old the cas, custom trigger disc had 2 "rings" outer had 4 holes for TDC and BDC (x2 to match crank speed), the inter had 2 holes for TDC only, hence wasted spark and batch fire injectors, think they call it 4+2 or normal distributor setup, its all just multiplied x2 as the cams run 1/2 engine speed.

Sounds like this may be relatively easy then. Did the dicktator like the std CA and SR water temp sensors?

The water temperature resistance range is totally customizable on the software setup, so this should be irrelevant.

Sweet .. few Q's
Did you brake into the wire loom of the Ca18det , or did you run it to all the stuff ( injectors, sensers ect)
Anything to watch out for ?
Did you need to get it dino'ed before it started , or did it atleast sound like it wanted to start
Thx

I wired straight into the stock loom. Nothing to watch out for but no offence if you are asking these types of questions you are in over your head. Why dont you take the car to someone how fits these systems so you will have guarentee??
