And to what type of temp meter you connect it? Digital or these anlogue goodies from autostyle and then if analogue, what will the response time be on various temperatures ? Vlade what an where temp you need to evaluate. Asking this, because I am trying to resolve somethng similar in front of TB

That is a Delco type sensor that can be used by my Wolf EMS, the one I have in now, came from an Opel Astra, but I got the same problem as you Freddy it started to leak, got it wired and siliconed but don't think it would last long, so Ja trying to source a screw in type of connector.

I got a DENSO air temp sensor off a Toyota. Its a screw in type as well, M16x1.5. I just drilled and tapped it into my plenum, fits nicely and look std . The Denso's element is in a ceramic housing which helps prevent heat soak and incorrect reading.

What are you using it for??

Gary, plse tell exactly where on the plenum you drilled etc. Side,top, back.
Is there place just after the throttle fly?

Mine is for my Wolf... Freddy wants to monitor his water mist system...

Just behind the TB on the motor side, there is a flat surface which is real cool, looks like it was made for the sensor .

Mine is for the wolf aswell but also to monitor my water injection, to see what difference it makes.

All the Toyota's use the same sensor as far as I know.

Gary cool man. I already mesured and results as low as 29 deg Celsius before TB. Highway driving sort of. Ambient was about 27 to 29. Intake air before filter sometimes as high as 42 deg Celsius.
