so i wanted one but didnt want to spend monney on it so i found some info and set of building it it took 3 days only my lunch times so basicly 3 hours to complete.
needed parts.
m8 nut for drain
3 pieces of thin pipe
threaded coupling cut in half for oil level
2 6mm 90deg air fittings
6mm clear air tube
a pipe or tube for the tank
2 end plates for top and bottom
baffel plate to fit in the tank
steel wool
i had all materials lying around ssteel for a better looking tank
tubing cut to desired length
drill16mm holes so that the threaded coupling goes into the tube dont want it sticking out too far
drill holes for where your pipes will go at the top sized to your pipe
top plate drill a hole and weld a pice of pipe for where the breather filter will go
will be welded to the top
got this and cut it in half for where my pipes will conect
weld it in plece
bottom plate with a nut welded on for draining the tank
get some steel wool to put in the tank
cut a baffel plate to fit in the tank
weld baffel plate in place in the tank
weld in the threaded couplings for the air fittings
i tac welded all the parts in place with the arc welder its hard to weld nice with it so i got a tig welder to weld it all in place and there you go a DIY oil catch can for cheap lol
the finished product
so when i got home i took out my polishing buff and shined the littel succer up now it looks bling bling
now where do i fit it ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
