has anyone replaced there lower ball joints? is there an direct replacement part?

If memory servs the facelift sentra's are usable, but you'll need to press the old ones out anyways, so take with as a sample.

found some tie rods,but no luck on the ball joints yet.

take a sample - you'll find something!

or order from the states or something!

the manufacturer name "moog" comes to mind!

sent the o.e one to a suplier.will see if they can match something up.

hey ive been invoved in nissans -backies, sx's, skylinses,etc alot of the parts are interchanable. if it has a lower control arm with a round press in ball joint,try a 1997 hardbodyse backie ball joint,cheap, hard as nails take yur sample with to a midus and have a look.

sent a sample to partquip factory and no luck yet.

AR did you ever come right with this?

I've had mine replaced by simply using the OEM's as samples, but I have a bit of vibration now that I'm sure is from the balljoints. The new ones went in way too easy.

Anyways, done some research and besides S14 joints, nissan N13 and S12 ball joints will also work. Neither of those came to SA though.

But, I did manage to find out that N13 and B12 uses the same joints. So maybe reference your sample against a Sentra B12 (box shape) 1.8i 16v.

yeah I got some from a place in midrand. Don't know the name at all. I just kinda yellow paged it and eventually found a shop that said I must bring a sample. R800 or so later I was sorted, but I'm not 100% sure if they are right for the car.

Gonna replace them with some Moog imported ones as soon as I can afford to.
