Hey guys bolted the turbo on my motor... but thethe stock actuator is set to 1.2bar. my blown turbo's actuator does not want to fit... tried modding the bracket....
so....
now my question is... does anyone have a actuator that I will be able to use that runs say 0.8bar or something???

Take it step by stem mate.
I have exactly the same turbo as you and when I fitted mine it boosted 0.6bar.
First fit it and then see what happens.
just my 2c!

hmmm... sounds like slightly dodgy advice to me, unless of course, you're loaded with money!
what you gonna do when you overboost with a new bigger turbo, and you detonate and blow up your motor???

See what happens, meaning what you boost. Do you for one moment think it would boost 1.2 bar? coz I dont. Then they wouldn't have made it adjustable.
Changing the actuator before you know what the turbo would boost on you car is stupid.
really now come on!
The proof is in the pudding. I fitted it and no problems, boosted 0.6 bar and all is well!

ok ok... so is there a way to test the actuator? you konw get some pressure on there to see what bar it opens at?

hmm - what are those tools called again than can create air pressure???
damned stupid memory!

ok ok... so connect a compressor with a gauge to the actuator pipe and see what the reading is?
