You will need to tune the ECU for the new MAF AFAIK. you cant just plug it in and expect it to work

Sorry I am not being Rude but why did you buy a N62 MAF if you weren’t sure you needed one?

OK anyway the wiring splicing diagram can be found in the sticky set-up by Daniel

You will also need to Reprogram or fool the stock ECU into getting the correct VQ = Voltage to airflow reading to make the car run correctly

Hmm you bought the MAF without having the software to tune the ECU??

Sounds like one of those cheap power gains... gone wrong.

speak to PFB - he's tuning his stock with that kind equipment!

trust me - its worth every penny!

Are you sure that's a N62 MAF?

N62's usually have an orange label and they are a lot bigger than that. Also the middle part doesn't extend from the one side to the other. It sort of just hangs in the middle there like Jenna Jameson's you know what... or that little thing hanging in the back of your throat.

post a better quality picture of the label on the MAF please.

I can't access eBAY at work

but doesn't sound or look like a N62 to me. N60 is already 80mm. N62 is either 80 or 90mm afaik.

N62's usually sell for at least $90 - $120. The fact that you bought it for $10 confirms what I'm thinking now.

If the MAF works it may still be an upgrade on the stocker, seeing that the stock one is like 50mm ID, but you'll still need to go through the trouble to pick up a piggyback or a eprom to tune for it.
