i've sourced a dizzy - if its still available...

but i need a 45mm (min) or 48 (ideal) down draught carburettor.

anyone have anything lying around or know of any anywhere?

Hi veecee a downdraft carb wont work as well as a side draft i know a 4 barrel holley carb from a v8 works but the v6 carbs not sure. And i still have the dizzy if you want it

I used a 45mm side draft on 3 of my rotary motors it work really well so try sourcing one of them in the junkmail their going for 1500 a set but you only need one

R1500 for a set of genuine 45mm sidies, never, for 40mm's yes but not 45mm's.

45mm are more like R6k a pair, they are scarce like chickens teeth.

hey raptor - i've been meaning to call all week but things have been hectic.

i would like to use a sidie - makes life much easier, but then i would struggle to find a manifold, and i might not have space for that in the beetle???

PM me your details so we can arrange a meeting, cos i definitely want to do this mod in the very near future.
