When I put it into 5th gear under load it sometimes jumps out of gear. Is it simple to fix or am I going to need to overhaul the gear box? :?:

This is the first thing that will happen....after that it won't go into 5th anymore.....there is some bolt inside that hold the gear in place....it has to be fastened....aperently this happens with our gearboxes....got this from the guy that fixed mine....

yeah all those question marks were because i wasnt too sure!!!

think about this - its about 2500-00 for a "used low mileage" box at the importers. so before you run off to the engineers, consider that option too!

Ditto.

Plus the engineers would charge you a heap load and then (some of them) they would still muck it up!
