If you are gonna keep with the stock ecu for long it just increases your tuning capabilities so much more! So yeah its a good thing to do!
Just to find one in good condition is a mission. Your most prolly gonna have to ebay it!

i think the q45 is the biggest you'll get, but the z32 is very very sought after!!!
in fact - hold thumbs - i know of one (Z32) coming up soon that MIGHT be for sale on the forum soon!!!

i can get a q45 for $59 and z32 for 169$ hmmm mayb q45 better on the pocket
