Hi guys,

On a recent visit to MR TURBO I found a 600mmx300mmx76mm intercooler and it looked really sweet. However I was told bigger is not always better and was told to rather use the 550mmx230mmx50mm one with the 50mm as hot pipes and 60mm as cold pipes increasing to 76mm

I am confused since the Greddy bolt-on uses 50-60mm hot pipes, a 600mmx280mmx76mm intercooler and then 60mm cold pipes increasing to 76mm at the Throttle body. :?

Note this is on a SR20 in a S14 with a bigger turbo running 0.9bar.

I REALLY dont want any more lag. Please help esp the local guru's please...

Get a small FMIC and get DevilsOwn!

Noob response: HUH!? Also when I get the new cooler who is the best to go to in Gauteng for piping (the neat stuff...) preferably ally and without seeing any welds and also not 101 pieces.

nice smooth dent-less bends and nice flowing pipe work.

No I'm being serious, you said you dont want lag, then get a small FMIC and run DevilsOwn with that! Its progressive so your small FMIC saves you the lag and DevilsOwn cools when boosting High!

I know of a certain s14 running higher boost than that and running DevilsOwn with no problems, and you wont believe the power he makes!

And on the piping get a set for the SR20DET.

Give Oscar at FSR a ring. He has loads of stock! It looks great as well and its made to fit.

He is based in CT but he ships to any where in SA!

Go look here, there you can see two SR20DET's with the piping he sells, and the coolers.

Well since Rezlo is down now I can't really get a price on it.

But international prices are in the region of 249 GBP

That was for DevilsOwn.

The boost pipes I think go for 1700 or 1800 now. I'm not to sure, phone FSR and find out.

BTW these boost pipes are made to fit, not universal.

all pipes and silicone couploings and clamps are included.

Its allso designed for less lag, meaning the hot pipe diameter is smaler than the cold side!

It really does look so sweet on a sx!
