Water temp

Hey guys,
I wanna know what the water operating temp is on a CA S13. My switch for my electric fan is kaput and I need a replacement but wanna put in the right temp range.
I test fitted a honda switch (92deg - 87deg) but it appears to come on too early.
If this is in the FSM I apologise - I couldn't find it...

I know the S13 doesn't come out standard with electric fans. But many people have changed to electric fan setups and must use fan switches to control the temperature where the fan switches on.
Thus my original question.

My advice....the colder the better.....I had golf switches in that kicked in at 90 dig I think....

Any other temp ranges?? Like I said Draco - I tested a 92deg one but it seemed to switch on a bit soon. If the water temp stays too low that's also not really good for your motor, that's why I want to know the typical working temp.
But I'm probably gonna use the Honda one for now - can always swop the switch for another one later.
Doesn't anybody use an aftermarket water temp gauge perhaps?? The one in the cluster isn't calibrated so doesn't really help.

i use a bmw E36 switch.
it has two temps that switch two different outputs.
so at the first temp i switch on one fan, and if it gets to a higher temp i switch on the second fan. it then switches off again when the temp drops back to normal.

Thx VC and Poizen - had a look at both those options. I only have single E39 bmw fan (massive one form a 5 series) so the dual circuit one will have to wait till I change (if I do) to 2 fans.
Had a look at the autogauge one but the autostyle site doesn't give any info as to senders/relays/etc so thx for the info - I might try the autogauge controller once I have a bit more time lying around. Do you need to buy anything extra for the autogauge controller Poizen?? Like does it come with temp sensor, etc?
