Copper plating?

I want to copper plate my tappet covers..... I watched American Chopper too many times!
Is there a clear lacquer that will withstand that high heat?

yes - clear powder coating does!

Dunno the only thing i ever bronze plated was my gold medals(so they did not tarnish.)
Basic 2K should hold the eat, but there might be hi heat stuff out there...
