Howdy all, blew up my gearbox literally yesterday.....too much torque or whatever....kinda weird as this happened only after i got my car back from Stallion Turbo last week with my new turbo upgrade hahaha, will post pics soon.

Gotta buy a new box tho...and button clutch and pressure plate...anyone selling some here?

RB20 powered.

and if stallion rode the shit outta that car, then they should pay for the new gearbox i would say!!!

BTW - you can use a ca18det gearbox and transfer your RB bellhousing onto it!

If you get a button clutch plate, make sure it has 6 or more buttons on a side. I fitted one with 4 on a side, and it slips, even with heavy duty presure plate. Think the presure surface area is to small. Running about 260kw , 450nm.

That price for anrb gearbox is way cheap man, lucky dawg. as for clutch 6 button is the bay to go,i had a buton built for my r33 it only had 4 pads, was K@K in trafic cuse i had a double diaphram aswell so you need legs of steel to puch the clutch, but was gret for drag anf drift.....
rathe pay the extra coupla bucks for the right one.

smaller surface area and same force will equal greater pressure. thats why race clutches have 4 pucks and street 6 - i assume?

I got hooked up with Mike at the Jhb factory, he is building on demand and the 6 pad plate plus pressure plate works me out R1500, i have spoken to people who use the stuff and they give the thumbs up, i think it'll be good for 500HP.
