Hey, I ran @ Kilarney last night in the wet and it was dark. I posted a time of 14.05 on the quarter.
I F%&ked the start and started braking B4 the line.....(i dont really drag) My 5th time down the strip, 1st time in my sx.
Is this respectable??
What is a good time for a stock s14 with a leetle more boost.(.8 bar)??

You should have ran agin!
I think a 13.5 would have been your time....... And thats good for a car thats near stock!

That is a very good run for a stockish S13, almost can't believe that it only has a bit more boost, makes me wonder what I would have done on the 1/4 mile...always thaught I would get around there but maybe it was possible to get mid 13's.....
With your stockish one you should get flat 14's or late 13's if the launch and urly braking is sorted.....which is extremely good for a "claimed" stockish S13....

What times did the stock S13s and S14s do?? I would be happy with running mid 13s...

ok...that explains it....stock s13 and 14 I think will run in the urly 15's or late 14's
Gary I am pretty sure you could make a late 13 1/4 mile...what is your best time.....
still for a stockish s14 that is still almost to good to be true.....unless the turbo isn't stock.....

I have never done a 1/4mile run before. The previous owner did a 14.6 at 164 when it had 143RwKw in JHB, so not sure what I could do now. I would be happy with a 13.5 or so, I think that is respectable.

If you have slicks or semi's on yes, maybe even 13.3 or so....normal tyres you should get 13.7 ish if you have a clean good run with perfect gearing and no tyre spin

So I will be in the 14s then

. I battle to launch properly, too much rev I wheel spin, too little I bog, or my clutch slips...
