Looking for a complete head if any one knows of one... can swop for rb25 - bottom end and head... motor would need pistons, otherwise everything should be there... Or can buy the 26 head... aint selling 25, will only swop

Building RB30 ?

Yes.. have all the parts, have the 25 head, but would like the 26... Trying to build something that is enough to scare anyone...

I read alot about the RB30, and as far as I understand, the RB25 head flows just as good as RB26. Only advantage of RB26 head is the solid lifters for high rpm (7000-9000). Because of the RB30 stroke max rpm is about 7500, so is there an advantage using the RB26 head? Would like to know, because I will also go RB30 if I have to rebuild any of my engines. Also RB26 heads are almost impossable to find.

With the rb26 head you can get up to about 600kw... the rb25 is about 500.... Instead of doing the 25 head, just thought i would save the time....money would be about the same... Going to be running forged motor... busy waiting on some parts still...

wich you get rid of for big power apps anyway...

If i gotta buy most of it anyway for the 25, i recon i might aswell try get the 26...Think its a much better head.... 25 is awesome, but why not try...
