it has a import CA18DET motor with 450 km on the clock, and according to the owner the only fault is that the back left shock is nearing the end of its lifetime!
should finalize everything this weekend abd might be joining the SX club for real soon!!

Just make sure of your facts before you do it. I nearly bought that car but didn't for a few good reasons:
1) When i drove the car the rear end felt VERY loose. Either all of the suspension bushes/shocks are f%ed or it has been in a rear end smash.
2) The import motor story....I don't know. When I went to look at the car I could hear the motor wasn't 100% and a week later he phoned me to tell me that I could have it for 40k since he blew the headgasket. He also ran a T3/T4 with the stock injectors and ECU - this means lean running. My concerns are because he told me that he didn't have money to fix it - so where did he get money for a replacement motor?? But if its fixed - cool
3) Either all of the shocks were stuffed (just like mine when I bought it) or the front balljoints are toast (just like mine).
4) the brakes - it's gonna need new discs front and rear pretty soon. This is something I didn't check on mine when I baught it but suggest you do. These cars discs and pads are not very cheap.
I'm not gonna slag Rowan off - if he's fixed the car in the meantime then fine, but just thought you should know.

Going by Enzio's review it sounds way over-priced for what you're getting, sell your car for R30k and buy mine
