Hi guys, just to let you know that the second round of the NDS drift series will be held on the 20th September in PE on the scribante circuit.... Have got confirmation from drivers all over the country and it looks likethis could be the biggest event in SA so far... Lots of CT guys, Joburg guys, guys from east london and so on, so should be lots of fun... 3 classes.. street, amateur and pro... Try make it down here if you can.....

Not to be rude but is that section for the drifting tight enough to carry a drift through the corners??

we running the drifting anti clock... where the orange starts(top left), on that straight, handbrake in...do the switch and slow down on the last straight section.. actually very easy...looks difficult from the pic... ive got it right a couple times clock wise from main straight to end of orange section...my skyline vid, and thats a stock chassis with a bit f power...

Rumour has it that there will be a few nice drag cars to, so if you have the power come have a straight line run as well ;) the more the better!

we all know you've proven yourself in the engineering arena and the drag arena. no questions.

but you seem to stay away from the drifting. any chance of one of your cars or maybe yourself trying out the drifting???

nothing in the pipeline there???

Ive tried it and ive built a few pretty hard core cars like that RXM white S14, it just doesn’t interest me personally.

I am actually not into drag either, all the cars ive done in SA so far (besides the drift) have all been street or street/track cars not drag, I just prefer to use the 400m to prove the ability to have a fast, reliable and drivable street car... besides, how many full street cars do you see in the 11's and 12's :D

Did they get the atom's suspension sorted? heard it was all over the track at the last event?

Depending on work load, Im going to try make it to this weekends event in the Datsun. Other guys will be driving up for the sept 20 event on the day/weekend.
