Hi

I am looking at replacing the interior carpet as it’s a bit worn. Any ideas??

depends on how worn out your carpet is... because u can have it repaired and re-dyed at a place called Colorglo in Randburg. They repair holes, cuts, cigarette burns, etc...

ZHR had some copies made of the OEM mats at a place that does work for merc etc. We each took a set.

I still have one left which Toby wanted but in 8 months neither of us have been able to drive the 15km to meet up for them.

If toby doesn't want this set anymore then you can buy them I guess. Search a bit - there are pics somewhere on the forum.

Thanks Hotstuff, I have got some wear marks in the carpet in a few places and new colour would look nice. Do you perhaps have the number?

How is your interior paint work holding up?

There is an ad for them in the Car Magazine, have a look there.

Also as the good Dr said, ZHR had some sets of the loose fitting mats made and they are a perfect fit, see the pics in my garage.

As for the paint work on the console and dash, it's still 100%, no scratches and chips. The clear coat on it does wonders.

Good luck with your carpets and dont forget to take some before and after pics.
