Hi guys, im new to the forum and live in CT.

I'm having injector trouble, 1 or 2 seals and injectors are faulty. I Can get a set of std inj but not sure of condition for R400. Theres a guy in epping that can service and fix my original injectors with new seals for R750 to R900 but i must remove and refit injectors and rail my self.

Should i buy new injectors if so where and how much and does it come with seals etc. Or should i jst service my original ones and does any1 know where i can get the seals and just mix and match mine with those second hand ones. Oh motor is std jst 63mm exhaust, but would like to turn up the boost atleast .7bar with a dyno tune(std ecu)

welcome to the forum...

removal and fitting of the injectors on a stock CA18 isnt easy! it requires some mechanical ability - if you are able to do so, then go for it.

if you are sure that the injector bodies are not leaking and that it is only the seals, then go buy a set of injector seals (top and bottom) and a set of O-rings, and have your seals sonically cleaned and flow tested.

then fit the seals yourself and BAM - job done!

if the injectors bodies are leaking then you will have to replace the injectors themselves!

ok so injectors are cleaned and seals replaced, but cars not idling right or should i say it feels like theres some heavy cams in. think its the intake gasket, but hey the car is so much lighter on petrol now. lol
