Hi all,
so we all know you get the real Greddy larger capacity oil pan, and the imitation.
I'm not keen on paying for the real deal as its obviously WAAAY more expensive.
I have been warned that they leak though.... has anybody fitted an imitation one and had any leaks or success etc?

"back in the day" I recall that Callibrator had to fit 3 different ones to Dislex666's S14 because they all leaked, but he got it right the 3rd time.
The sump isnt pressurized (well it shouldnt be) so I suppose any leaks can just be RTV'ed, look at it this way, you can buy 3 knockoffs for the price of one original...

mm, spoke to a friend last night....
He also fitted one and had problems with it leaking, so he had to apply extra silicone and gaga stuff.....
so no go for this....
Getting the real thing.....
thanks anyways, just wanted to see other people's experience.
