SX is dead....

Well, last nite I get in my SX to go and meet up with the other SX okes and my car doesnt want to start! I drove her 10min before that!
Anyway, igniton comes on, all of the lights come on, even the alarm goes off! But it doesnt make a sound when I turn the key.
The starter doesnt turn at all. It didnt give any problems before with starting. No funny starter noises or anything...
Any clues?

turn your radio down
fuse/relay?
woman at work had same thing the other day, i found the starter power cable was loose (im thinking the sx ground cable is suspect, or you got it wet)
(otherwise tap starter with hard object - might be stuck)
switch lights on and then turn key - see if lights dim excessively or not at all
bump start car

Did turn the radio down..... nothing
Turned lights on.... Doesnt dim much.
Which fuse or relay to check? There so many!
Will take my 10 pound hammer and bliksem it till it starts!

Yip, checked that. all the lights and everything comes on....

Comon broblen fixit strip starter change the brushes it costs about R100 part number is ...brush holder ass'y ELP SBH271.THE BRAND IS UNIPOINT IT WORKS WEL redone 3 starters and it is an age problem

ok, so my dad phoned me, he got in the car this morning, and guess what?
IT STARTED!
Car has got a mind of its own! Man I love my sx!

It is going to happen again.
You are going to need to rebuild the starter, its a coman problem with the SX is has happen twice to mine
