Wanted: 200SX S13

Hi there, I'm looking for a 200SX to buy if anyone has or knows of one for sale.

Must be in original condition with all original parts, no modifications. Preferably white in colour. Bodywork must be good and straight, minor chips or scratches are ok.
Mechanically I don't mind if it needs a few things sorting out, I'd rather do a few mechanical jobs myself than have to pay to get bodywork done.

Looking in the price range of R30 000 to R35000, preferably in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Hey, while you looking for one of those, get me a unicorn and leprechaun and see if you can find the lost city of atlantis.....

Seriously, the chances of you finding an SX in that condition for that price is little to none... There is a very nice one in CPT if I remember for R50k... Look for a thread in Classified by Hotstuff

Really? Cos if you look here http://www.mead.co.za/estimator/estimat ... ny=stannic You'll see that a '92 model is not really worth more than R33500 at most on retail.

A guy in Durban, I think he's Deens on the forum, just sold his and he was asking R35000.

Looked in good nick from the photo's

Thats also why I want a standard one, so no one has put money into mods and now thinks its worth more than it really is.

Exactly, so then an S13 200SX at R50000 is overpriced, unless perhaps its in showroom condition with genuine low mileage.

Well take mine for instance... I paid R40k, car is in a good condition, no rust minor dent here and there. FSH, and 209k when i bought it, STOCK STANDARD. That was almost a year ago. That is today still a good price. You'll possibly find one for less but it's not gonna be in a great condition.

So if you find one in stock mint condition for less than R40k you're really really luck!

Guy the reason Deens sold his car so cheap is because he is never in the country so he needed a VERY quick sale. His car was clean yes and who ever bought it got a HUGE bargin, that car would normally sell for R50k no problem.

Most SX's in Dbn are scrap anyway and yet they still sell for R40k or so. For a clean STD one like you want you should be looking at about R50k-R60k range.
