I think people like stuffing up good looking cars, Lambo doors belong on a Lambo, if you cant afford one you cant have one. Aeroplane wings that people use to add down force (still not sure why) belong on and aeroplane dont put them on a car (and they give lift not downforce on an aeroplane).

Ok guys if he wants to do it let him do it!

Its his car and his money thats going down the drain!!!

Just give him good reasons not to do that.

Like...because s13 are a long 2 door car they have quite heavy doors. You will notice that your stock hinge are 15 years old now and the door is already hanging and hard to open and close. Do you for one moment think that some Chinese bloke who built that in his spare time would be better than the well trained and WELL PAID Nissan engineers who spent years on building a hinge that would only last 15 years...Personally I wont spend my money on that. Rather do keyless entry or Flush door handles! make the car look better not break better, we already have loads of things breaking on our sx'es!

its a bitch to climb in and out of cars with that crap... fitted to a FD was a f#ckup...

but the FD's panels comes very deep into the car, when opening the door, you have to swing them out about 1/10 of the way then, push them, up... rather hard and time consuming... also narrowed the space allowed to climb into the car... but it looked cool

yeah - you have to make custom rails, or buy custom rails.

Here is a plan,

Keep the stock bottom part of the seat, make a custom fit of the racing seat top part to the bottom. That way the rails stay the same and the hight stays the same. Just send the bottom part to a car upholstery place and stiffen it up.

It will work wonders!
