search for "cowling", "electric fans", etc on the forum...

its been discussed plenty before - and there are many different opinions on the subject!

If you are still running the viscous fan then I'd say don't do it, the fan won't draw air through the radiator properly then.

Nissan didn't put it there for aesthetic value, just saying...

agree with jon and trance...

Even my electric fans don't benifit from sitting flush against the radiator, one of my things todo is to build an little alloy cowling for it.

Ok this may sound stupid.... BUT here goes.

Will you be able to fit 2 fans on the radiator, and still keep the stock fan intact? And also leave the plastic cover.... :?: :?:

I don't see why not to be honest, would be a bit over-kill but is do-able.

Don't remove it unless you are going for electric fans.

The car need it to direct air through radiator.(Too much turbulence without it.)
