i've been seriously contemplating matte black for my car, but the matte black we get here is not the same as that car!!!

that looks more like matte black with a satin clear coat to me! as soon as i find a satin clear coat - i might go matte black!!!

but that is definitely one of hottest s15's i've ever seen!

You cant just go matt black paint because it will dull, it need to have a non gloss clear coat that can be waxed and polished to keep the carity of the clear. VC I think do it, it will be damn hot.

i'm totally keen to do it! but where do i get the paints, clear coats and other materials???

I remember seeing this on another forum awhile back and IIRC its Satin black with some sort of clear coat
