What is next for my ride...

Post by HancoB »

Well since I got the roof done and the paint job all alla bling bling I guess I have to do something with the power figures!

So tomorrow I am getting my jap back box. I'll take some pics of it before I fit it and after.

I am waiting for my adjustable caster rods...now those are two little nice thingies! I'll be posting pics of the before and after.

And then I am doing a FMI kit and boost pipes! Smooth hey...

also - lets talk about getting an HKS backbox in south africa for only 550-00 or something. specially if its a 76mm inlet.

cos my SR20det is gonna need a nice beeg zorst. i was even thinking 80mm. but then i would struggle to find a back box with such a large inlet, unless i maybe go drive around cape town!!!

How did you buy the box, was it a shop or an order and where are they situated.
Hey! You can buy the backbox directly from the SA Autoparts shop. BUT it's in Capetown on voortrekker road....

I agree. I also need a back box that looks nice, not the normal looking muffler I have, and that one will look the shit. So where do we sign up?

ag dammit, I stay all they way in the capital city. If I drive down to go buy one my wallet would be as empty as my tank before I get there, especially with the latest fuel hikes. There goes that Idea.

who makes it???

cos i'm quite sure i can get a similar deal from F1X zorsts up the road from my orifice!

my custom twin 63mm inlet backboxes were only 450 each, so it was 900 for the lot.

hey...

maybe i should get the 76mm downpipe, split it into two 63mm pipes to the back, and have twin backboxes separated, and then run each 63mm pipe into one back box. cos i really like those backboxes i have!!!

here's a pic of mine! they dont give it a hectic modified look!

Very loud! Droning noise insane, you have to shout to each other in the car, but it sounds like a beast!

I personally love the sound of it, but some people like little less noise. Different strokes for different folkes....

Looks good Hanco.... Well done..
